When you buy a prepaid phone card, you are paying for a specific amount

and deducted from the card until the time is depleted.

Phone cards differ primarily in costs to connect and rates per minute.
We created our Best Rate Finder to assist you in selecting the best card
for the destination you want.

Yes, most cards are for calls originating in the US and can be made from
any phone in the US. The FCC mandates a fifty cent fee for calls
made from pay phones. Rates for calls on cellular phones are higher
than rates shown on the web site.
-Do calling cards expire?
Cards typically expire 3 to 6 months after they are first used.
